Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers Days South Wales | Magor & Surrounding Areas
We are recruiting Class 1 Day Drivers for Friday to Monday ad-hoc cover, based out of Magor, delivering to RDCs across South Wales and beyond.
This role is ideal for drivers looking to pick up one or two extra shifts per week on a flexible, ad-hoc basis.
The Role: RDC deliveries
Palletised goods using a pump truck
Collections and deliveries
Typically 23 drops per shift, with the possibility of a collection
Clean, well-organised work with reputable clients
Start Times: AM starts between 03:00 07:00
Drivers must be flexible within this window
Pay Rates (PAYE Days): Friday: £16.50 per hour
Saturday: £21.00 per hour
Sunday: £22.34 per hour
Monday: £16.50 per hour
Holiday pay paid on top of the hourly rate
Shift Pattern: Friday to Monday ad-hoc cover
Work offered on a purely ad-hoc basis
Ideal for drivers wanting additional work alongside other commitments

Requirements: Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card
Comfortable using a pump truck
Good knowledge of drivers hours & WTD
Minimum 3 months Class 1 experience
