Job Summary:
The Senior Analyst is responsible for managing support tickets, assisting leadership with projects, and ensuring continuous improvement by escalating necessary changes. The role also involves knowledge sharing with team members to enhance team capabilities.
Responsibilities include:
1. Triaging and managing support desk inquiries, including handling basic questions
2. Completing RFI and RFP processes during sales
3. Responding to anti-virus alerts and phishing notifications
4. Assessing and approving new vendors via our Vendor Management system
5. Managing access request approvals
Additional support tasks:
1. Supporting external audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests
2. Participating in internal and external audits, especially SOC 1 Type II
3. Maintaining the Information Security Risk Register, reporting threats, and implementing mitigation measures
4. Implementing the organization's Security Strategy
5. Monitoring networks and systems for security breaches
6. Responding to security incidents and conducting forensic investigations
7. Maintaining physical security measures
8. Researching and recommending security improvements
9. Advising on software, hardware, and access control changes
10. Planning and supporting measures to protect digital information
11. Anticipating security incidents and disasters to reduce risks
Required Qualifications & Skills:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* 3-5 years in security management principles
* Certifications such as Security+, SSCP, or Cybersecurity Fundamentals
* Knowledge of security management, vendor tools, antivirus solutions, and client request handling
* Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate effectively
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to prioritize and manage workload independently and in a team
* Ownership and initiative in tasks
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
* Certifications like CISM, CRISC, CISA, CISSP
* Experience with Google Workspace, JIRA, JAMF, Tenable.io, Nessus, Sophos, Wazuh SIEM
