Job Description
As a Channel Sales Manager, managing our Retail & Home Improvement Channels for the Consumer Business Group for the UK and Ireland, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Responsibilities
* Lead an experienced and energised key account sales team to execute sales, customer and market strategies across the UK and Ireland to build growth with major retail customers in our Retail & Home improvement channels.
* Determine and influence business decisions to develop customer relationships.
* Manage sales programmes around targets, financials, reporting, POS analytics, category management and incentives to drive growth and participate in contract negotiations.
* Set priorities, assign resources/tasks and provide performance feedback to build growth.
* Support and coach your sales organisation to demonstrate strong people skills, developing the team to achieve their goals and reach their potential.
Required Skills and Expertise
* Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution, preferably in Business Management fields.
* Expertise in selling and customer experience in FMCG/Retail markets.
* Current, valid driver’s license is required, as you will be issued a company vehicle for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
* Category Management.
* Negotiations Skills Certification (e.g., GAP).
* Sales management certification.
* Project management.
Job Specifics
* Travel: 25% to 50% domestic and international travel within UK & Ireland depending on customer requirements; travel will vary week to week.
* Role location: UK.
