The Labour Party is hiring for the role of Data Protection Officer.
Overview
The Labour Party is looking to recruit a Data Protection Officer. The post-holder will be responsible for acting as the Labour Party’s statutory DPO, overseeing and managing the Party’s data protection compliance framework and ensuring all personal data processing activities meet the highest standards of compliance.
Base pay range
Salary: £58,084.17 (gross) per annum, with a fixed sum allowance of £1,153. There is potential to progress to £64,693.99 over the next 2 years. If the role is based in London, an additional £3,650 (gross) per annum London Weighting is applied.

Responsibilities
* Act as the Labour Party’s statutory Data Protection Officer.
* Oversee and manage the Labour Party’s data protection compliance framework.
* Ensure all personal data processing activities meet high standards of compliance.
Qualifications
* Deep understanding of data protection principles and lawful bases for processing.
* Understanding of data security and breach notification procedures.
* Proven experience of dealing with data protection issues.
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop team members.
