To lead on all supplier delivery management. Activities primary focus is minimising Critical Boat component shortages from the external/internal suppliers. Manage acceptable delivery performance to maximise material availability to each stage of the production build stages. Follow through on supplier first acknowledgement formed from the buyer agreements; providing the business with credible supplier delivery plans. Manage the global supplier order books with regular delivery confirmation, schedule updates, and communication methods ensuring all suppliers know the performance that is required for 'on time in full delivery' to our purchase orders and 'on-time in full' delivery visibility to the production needs dates. This role is to be the main focal point across all production lines as the supply chain interface and therefore periodic travel is required to internal manufacturing sites and the external vendor base.
Key Job Responsibilities
* Supplier(s) account owner and conduct regular order book reviews maintaining accurate and achievable delivery commitments against set targets.
* Measure Supplier performance to required delivery requirements, resolving process and complexity problems within the internal & external supply chain, and ensuring that they are resolved in a timely manner.
* Involved in collaboration with the quality function engineers to provide the business with a balanced supplier scorecard. Review and report at a regular cadence.
* Maintain supplier historic documents in a systematic way and in an audible fashion ensuring process compliance and lesson learn logs.
* Proven ability to achieve targets and objectives within a demanding and pressured environment against challenging deadlines.
* To operate and carry supplier relationship management processes across the company in line with local policies and procedures.

Full driving licence required
Based in Southampton (Saxon Wharf) but travel between sites will be necessary (Hythe & Wroxham).
Supplier visits predominantly in the UK region (occasionally).
