Overview
Our client provides an extensive range of specialised IT solutions and systems for the private healthcare market, including practice management systems, online billing, secure messaging, and clinical coding tools. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team. The role involves generating revenue and building market presence by identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing business relationships. The focus is on selling products that improve administrative efficiency and managing key client accounts.
Salary: £30k with £8k OTE
The Role
* Prospect for potential new clients and convert this into increased business, focusing on individual specialist solutions.
* Maintain long-term relationships with accounts and maximize sales opportunities.
* Develop proposals that address client needs, concerns, and objectives.
* Collaborate with internal teams to develop existing and new products to meet customer needs.
* Present new products and services, and enhance existing relationships.
* Participate in pricing solutions/services.
* Handle objections by clarifying and emphasizing agreements to reach positive conclusions.
* Attend industry events, such as association meetings and conferences, and provide market feedback.
* Ensure accurate data entry and management within the company's CRM system.
The Person
Qualifications
* Previous experience in account management.
* Understanding of medical/clinical terminology is advantageous.
* Experience in the private healthcare industry is advantageous but not essential.
* Familiarity with CRM or sales management systems.
