We're excited to announce the launch of a brand-new residential service in Leeds, supporting young adults aged 18–25 with learning disabilities.
As a Deputy Manager, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of this new home — leading by example and ensuring high standards of care, safety, and person-centred support.

Job Description – Key Responsibilities
As the Deputy Manager, you will:
* Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
* Lead and motivate the care team to deliver high-quality, person-centred support to young adults with complex needs.
* Oversee and contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and regular reviews.
* Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding standards, and company policies.
* Provide hands-on support where needed and act as a positive role model to staff.
* Handle staff supervision, performance reviews, and contribute to ongoing team development.
* Liaise with families, external professionals, and stakeholders to ensure collaborative care.
* Support with rota planning, medication management, incident reporting, and maintaining accurate records.
* Step into the Manager's role in their absence when required.
Person Specification Essential:
* Experience in a senior or leadership role in a social care setting.
* Knowledge of learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours that challenge.
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) – willingness to work towards Level 5.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Understanding of CQC standards, safeguarding procedures, and best practice in care.
* Passionate about delivering person-centred, empowering support.
Desirable:
* NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health & Social Care.
* Experience in setting up or registering a new service.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Experience working with young adults transitioning into adult services.
