This is an exciting opportunity to join Deloitte for an engagement with a leading global investment banking and asset management client.
The Bank Relationship Management team is responsible for the management of the front-to-back oversight governance framework for fund administrators, custodians and brokers across the Asset Management fund complex and institutional client managed accounts. The Asset Management team manages close to $1 trillion in more than 1,000 funds, distributed to clients across our client base.
Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for an Associate level within Vendor Relationship Operations with strong project management skills to join our team in London.
* Coverage and oversight of custodian and fund administrators to maximize potential value delivery across the firm
* Creating and driving strategic projects for vendors based on divisional and business unit priorities and needs
* Assisting with the evaluation, selection, negotiation and onboarding of new vendors and ongoing compliance with Firm vendor policies
* Evaluate new business/products/markets and collaborate across teams to represent and drive work streams
* Comply with internal risk frameworks and industry regulations to reduce risk and extract maximum value from our global network, connecting with stakeholders to lobby for internal or market change
Required Skills and Experience:
* Must have proven experience in a Vendor Relationship or Relationship Coordinator with strong project management skills
* Must be operating at an Associate level with 2-5 years' experience
* Must have experience with Custody and Fund Administration, or asset management services within Operations
* Must have knowledge of fund products (i.e., mutual funds and alternative investment funds) and regulatory environments
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with relevant industry experience
