Express Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with a highly reputable law firm with offices in the Centre of Nottingham. Our client is looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to join their Conveyancing Team to start immediately, covering a period of sickness initially for 2-4 weeks, however longer term opportunities may arise for the right candidate.
Candidates with both residential or commercial secretarial experience will be considered – so if you are available immediately and have experience of this, APPLY NOW!
Responsibilities
* Use digital dictation systems to accurately type solicitor’s letters
* Update bespoke conveyancing records with updates on Land Registry and searches
* Type a variety of legal correspondence
* Coordinate diaries and make appointments for partners
* Liaise with clients via telephone and email
* Handle confidential legal documentation, filing and archiving as required
* Use IT Systems, to include MS Office and bespoke case management systems
Skills & Experience
* Legal Secretarial experience on an up-to-date CV essential
* Diary management and co-ordination skills
* Copy and audio typing speeds in excess of 50wpm
* Previous experience within conveyancing highly advantageous
* IT Skills, to include MS Office and office management systems
Vacancy Summary
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
Location: Nottingham City Centre, Nottinghamshire
Job Type: Temporary for approx. 2-4 weeks, potential to extend
