Here at GXO, we are currently looking to recruit a Warehouse Team Leader to join our team in Crewe supporting our partners on site, TJX (TKMaxx and Homesense) GXO is seeking a talented and passionate individual for the position of Warehouse Team Leader to take responsibility for the efficient running of numerous warehouse functions, placing the highest regard on health & safety, colleague engagement, wellbeing, and their development, whilst meeting the operational KPI's & Targets. This is a full-time, permanent position working any 5 from 7 14:00 - 22:00 shift pattern, with some flexibility required. Pay, benefits and more: We're looking to offer a salary of £ 31,824 per annum. In addition, we offer 28 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day: Reporting to the Shift Manager, you will be expected to plan, manage and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements and customer priorities Communicate to shift / team on daily tasks, changes to working procedures, H&S, Audit etc Complete shift handovers accurately with oncoming / off going Team Leaders & Shift Manager Update your team on required targets / rates, and accuracy checks, providing training and feedback to colleagues, taking action on poor performance where required Overseeing the unloading of inbound freight and organising the pallet pick of goods going out Conduct HR related tasks such as Return to Works, Incident Reporting, Absence Management via T&A. What you need to succeed at GXO: Experience in leading a team within a fast-paced operation of FMCG, from goods in, to despatch Experience of working to agreed targets and managing a small team Well-versed in warehouse management systems Good working knowledge of current health & safety and compliance legislation We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
