Job Description

As a Prime Finance Trade Support Vice President in the EMEA Prime Finance Trading Services team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that all trades executed are entered completely and accurately into the Risk Management. You will be also responsible for daily management of trade life cycle events (expiries, dividends, corporate actions, etc.)
Job requirements:
* Performs core start-of-day and end-of-day controls to ensure Risk is correctly represented for Front Office
* Liaises with various other FO, MO and BO Teams on issues related to Cash Equity trades E.g. Product Control, Sales, Sales Support, Cash and Derivative Settlements, Client Services, Reconciliations, Technology, Business Management
* Provides the integrity and continuous improvement of the pre and post trade controls environment
* Manages the team of 3/4 individuals
* Maximizes trade processing STP (Straight Through Processing) tactical problem solving and root cause analysis
* Produces analysis for the trading desks and senior management
* Provides input into core projects including; industry-wide initiatives, regulatory, trading strategy, operational programs
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
* Sound understanding of Equity Swaps, Cash Equities, Derivative products, trading workflows and corporate actions
* Seasoned experience supporting Trading Desks in Prime/ Hedge Fund business
* Experience as a team leader/manager
* Confidence to communicate with senior managers effectively
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Familiarity of various risk management systems and an advanced MS Excel skills
* Strong work ethic and the ability to adapt to different business needs
* Excellent Analytical skills
* Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
* Control and detailed orientated
* Keen to challenge processes and suggest automated solutions
* Ability to work well under pressure
