Job Summary
Join a large, dynamic, integrated children’s therapy service. This role is for newly qualified occupational therapists to work with children aged 0‑19 across community settings including homes, schools and clinics.
Responsibilities
* Provide occupational therapy to children with physical disability, daily function challenges, feeding difficulties, language and communication needs.
* Work within multi‑agency teams with physiotherapists, podiatrists, speech and language therapists, and other health and social care professionals.
* Deliver care in children’s homes, pre‑school settings, children’s centres, mainstream and special schools, and community clinics.
* Support children and families to achieve therapy goals through individualized assessment and intervention.
Qualifications
* BSc Occupational Therapy degree or equivalent.
* Registered member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT).
* HCPC registration.
Location
Based in the North and Mid Hampshire area (Basingstoke, Winchester, Aldershot), Southampton and South West area (Southampton, Eastleigh) or Portsmouth and South East Hants area (Fareham, Portsmouth). Specific addresses include Adelphi House, 49 Church Square, Basingstoke; Aldershot Centre for Health, Hospital Hill; Unit L5 & L6 Swan Centre, Swan Shopping Centre; Battenburg Avenue Clinic, Portsmouth; Adelaide Health Centre, Western Community Centre, Southampton.
Contract & Pay
Band 5, Permanent contract, Full‑time with flexible working. Salary £32,073 – 39,043 per year.
