We've got a fantastic opportunity to work within a secondary school in Bristolas a STEM Teaching Assistant. Step Into Teaching are keen to recruit a handful of graduates that are keen to gain some experience with an eye for becoming a teacher within STEM.
This role is to start ASAP and continue throughout the 23/24 academic year as a minimum.
Alongside supporting in the classroom you will be tutoring a few hours a week with Year 11 students ahead of their GCSE's.
The successful graduate must:
* Have a STEM related degree with a 2:2
* Be passionate about STEM subjects
* Be able to inspire and motivate
* Have high expectations for students learning achievement and behaviour
* Be Passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people
* Be creative, friendly and approachable
The opportunity
* Full-time role, Monday-Friday
* March/April start until July 2024 as a minimum, contract can be renewed in September for the academic year 24/25.
