Power System Studies Engineer (PSCAD) - Bristol
Aurora Power Consultancy is currently seeking an experienced Power System Studies Engineer to join their growing team in either their Bristol or Manchester office. impact projects across the energy sector, supporting the transition to a more sustainable and resilient power network.
Candidates should have a MSc or higher in Electrical Engineering, or a related field, and have a good understanding of electrical engineering theory. Candidates should be interested in expanding their technical knowledge in the field of HV design and power system studies and achieving chartered engineer status (CEng).
Aurora is a young and expanding electrical consultancy so there will be many opportunities to grow with the company. Salary depending on experience, but is competitive

4+ years' experience in power systems analysis and application
Knowledge of inverter based generation and/or synchronous machine modelling
Knowledge of insulation coordination studies
Experience of inverter structure and PPC structure's
