Role - English Teacher Location - DY7 Salary - £170.00 - £230.00 per day (depending on experience) I am currently working with a well-regarded secondary school in the Dudley area that is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join their team. The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English Language and English Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 for suitably experienced applicants. Key responsibilities include: Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality English lessons Teaching a broad and balanced English curriculum across a range of abilities Preparing students for GCSE examinations in English Language and Literature Assessing, monitoring, and tracking student progress effectively Using data to inform teaching and intervention strategies Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes high expectations Supporting students in developing their reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills Contributing to curriculum development and departmental improvement initiatives The Ideal Candidate Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Has experience teaching English within a secondary school setting Possesses strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature Can motivate and engage students of all abilities Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills Is committed to achieving outstanding outcomes for young people All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
