Job Description Orthopaedic Scrub Theatre Team Leader Full Time - 37.5 Hours

We are currently expanding our theatre department and have exciting opportunities for Orthopaedic Lead Nurse/ODP to join and be part of our exciting journey of growth. Oaks Hospital has recently expanded and there are plans to develop services further.

Oaks Hospital is part of Ramsay Health Care UK, one of the leading providers of NHS and private patient services in England. Oaks Hospital is a 58 bed facility including 18 ambulatory bays, 4 laminar flow Theatres and an Endoscopy Theatre.

The role

You will be required to perform the scrub role in Consultant led surgeries that vary in complexity and specialism and will focus on Orthopaedic Surgery.

What you will bring with you as an Scrub/ODP: Current NMC/HCPC registration

Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently

A warm, considerate and empathetic character

Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) – Desirable but not essential

Minimum 2 years Ortho Scrub experience combined with people management within their role.
