We are seeking a Salaried GP (5 or 6 sessions) to join our high-performing, dispensing practice in Wickham, Hampshire from Spring 2026.

Main duties of the job
The role involves providing high-quality, patient-centred general practice care across 5 or 6 sessions per week.
This includes routine and acute appointments, managing a defined patient list, and contributing to a shared duty doctor rota (one duty day per fortnight), supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team.
You will work alongside skilled GPs, Advanced Care Practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, and administrative staff, with strong systems in place to ensure safe workload management. There are opportunities to develop clinical interests and contribute to service development, depending on your preferences.

Job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver safe, effective, and evidence-based general practice care to registered patients
* Manage a defined patient list, including routine and acute presentations
* Undertake a share of duty doctor responsibilities (approximately one duty day per fortnight), with strong team support
* Provide telephone, face-to-face, and digital consultations as appropriate
* Prescribe safely and effectively in line with national and local guidance
* Maintain accurate and contemporaneous patient records using the clinical system
* Contribute to clinical decision-making and practice development
* Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team, including nurses, pharmacists, and administrative staff
* Participate in clinical meetings and practice discussions
* Support quality improvement initiatives and service development where appropriate
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Fully qualified GP
* Registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a licence to practise
* Inclusion on the NHS Performers List
