About Our Client

Job Description
The Production Manager will be responsible for 2 departments, 4 direct reports and approx 80 team members within a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment. They will:
* Ensure the quality, efficiency, and safety of all manufacturing operations
* Manage and optimise the blending and blowmoulding production processes
* Champion, initiate and drive forward Lean and a range of continuous improvement projects.
* Implement process improvements to increase production efficiency
* Drive the strategic development of the Filling, Blending and Blowmoulding Departments
* Champion the development of staff at all levels through training, appraisals, talent reviews and regular briefings
* Ensure compliance with company and industry regulation
* Liaise with suppliers and other stakeholders as required
The Successful Applicant
The successful Production Manager will possess a range of the following:
* Proven experience in a similar position within the FMCG industry
* Demonstrable leadership acumen
* Experience implementing and driving lean principles and continuous improvement
* The ability to work autonomously
* Experience working with complex processes at pace
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Strategic thinker
* Strong communication and team management abilities
