Responsibilities:
Identifying client needs, efficiently handling client queries, and the creation and sending of considered proposals within company timeframes and adhering to company standards
Assisting the golf reservationist with member events and supporting the Events team with private dining/events, corporate fun days and conferences if business levels require
Communicate professionally and efficiently with the client throughout the entire booking process and conduct follow up telephone calls after a booking has taken place.
Preparing of menus, table plans and place cards for all functions where required and assisting restaurant managers with functions on the day i.e. meet and greet all guests and set up of function room if applicable.
Obtain deposits for all functions and banking them correctly, and compiling invoices, chasing monies and liaising with the accounts department to ensure correct reconciliation
Maximise function and bedroom occupancy to its fullest and effectively up-sell to our guests, including bedrooms, menus, conference rooms, and beverages
Maintain customer databases and CRM systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness of customer information
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of the event and customer satisfaction
Carry out proactive selling - contacting previous clients and visitors and keep connected with existing clients to promote a good rapport
Assist and conduct show rounds, and client entertaining, and represent Foxhills at off-site exhibitions and trade shows where required
Requirements:
Previous experience in sales support or administration preferred
A basic understanding of golf is ideal
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with excellent attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
