We are looking for an Assembly Technician to join our Dundee team. You will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our assembly automation, ensuring that high-quality medical products are packed and delivered on time to meet our global operations standards.
The Schedule: Monday - Friday, fortnightly rotation (6 AM - 2 PM & 2 PM - 10 PM).
The Pay: £14.80 per hour.
The Role: Operate and troubleshoot automated assembly equipment, maintain precise quality documentation, and lead first-line engineering responses.

What You'll Be Doing
Automation Expertise: Serve as the go-to SME for assembly automation. You will handle the setup and changeover of equipment and act as a first-line responder for troubleshooting before escalating to engineering.
Precision Manufacturing: Accurately follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Packing Batch Records (PBRs) to ensure every product is built to exact quality specifications.
Data & Performance: Record real-time Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) data to analyze performance and provide meaningful insights into equipment health.
Quality & Compliance: Complete all documentation "right first time" in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and site health and safety policies.
Continuous Improvement: Use your Six Sigma Yellowbelt training to contribute to Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and suggest ideas to boost productivity and communication.
Who You Are
Technically Minded: You have a detailed knowledge of production process control and are comfortable navigating automated or semi-automated systems.
Analytical: You understand Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques and can use tools like A3 or DMAIC to solve complex problems.
Tech Savvy: You can easily navigate Electronic Document Management (EDMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
Detail-Oriented: You have a "quality-first" mindset, with an understanding of Change Control principles and the ability to maintain Device Master Records (DMRs).
