Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial and Client Management Officer to join our central office team in Huddersfield.
This role combines financial operations with client relationship management, supporting the Head of Finance with accurate financial reporting, and the Managing Director with the needs of our investors.
The successful candidate will focus on accounting tasks such as reconciliations, budget preparation, and financial analysis, while acting as a key point of contact for investor reporting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
· Perform regular bank and account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with our processes.
· Support the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts.
· Track expenditure against budgets and highlight variances.
· Assist with year-end processes, including audits and statutory reporting.
· Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity.
CLIENT MANAGEMENT
· Maintain a professional and proactive relationship with our investors.
· Provide clear, timely financial updates and reports tailored to investor requirements.
· Respond to ad hoc queries from the investor with accurate financial information and insights.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
· Strong background in reconciliation, budgeting, and financial reporting.
· Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial systems/software.
DESIRABLE
· Experience in client or investor-facing roles is desirable.
