Job Description
SF Executive are partnered with a private equity backed service business based in Herefordshire who are seeking a Head of FP&A to support the CFO and the wider Executive Management Team through the their next transaction.
Within the first 6 months, you will be tasked with the following:
2024 Budget process...
* Manage and coordinate subsidiary FDs to deliver high quality budgets within required timescales
* Participate in stage 1 budget reviews to challenge subsidiary budget targets
* Develop templates, processes and systems to facilitate the 2024 budget process
* Produce consolidated financials with supporting analysis, covenant modelling and cash headroom illustrations
* Provide sensitivity analysis and ‘what if’ scenarios
* Support the CEO and CFO in presentations to investors/banks
Sales pipeline/revenue analysis...
* Work alongside the Sales & Marketing Director to develop a formalised sales pipeline reporting process
* Provide analysis to show the profile of backlog conversion to revenue
Exit Preparation...
* Lead data analysis to support preparation of an Information Memorandum
* Prepare long range P&L and cash flow projections
* Support the CFO and Corporate Finance advisers
Develop financial and operational reporting...
* Identify opportunities to leverage the reporting capability of the newly implemented ERP system
* Develop appropriate financial and operational KPIs
* Enhance cash focus and working capital metrics/forecasting accuracy
Support Buy & Build strategy...
* Contribute to financial due diligence and financial analysis of acquisitions (financial models, covenant models, bank presentations)
The successful Head of FP&A will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA or equivalent) who has held a lead FP&A position within a small to medium sized organisation. You will possess natural business/ commercial acumen and be proficient with financial modelling.
