29th April, 2026 Job Title: Anti-Social Behaviour Officer Type: Full-time, Permanent Location: Bristol (1-2 days in the office) Salary: £36,954 per annum Hours: 37 hours a week BRC are working closely with a housing association to recruit an Anti-Social Behaviour Officer to join their Customer Directorate within the Housing department. This role involves managing and resolving cases of anti-social behaviour, hate crime, and domestic violence. You will investigate concerns, work closely with customers and external agencies, and implement strategies to reduce and prevent future ASB. This is a customer-focused role aimed at improving residents’ quality of life and feelings of safety within their communities. Duties: Manage and investigate all Anti-Social Behaviour, Hate Crime, and Domestic Violence cases. Gather evidence, interview relevant parties, and take appropriate action in line with policies and legislation. Work collaboratively with colleagues, customers, legal advisors, neighbourhood police, and local authorities. Attend multi-agency meetings and case conferences as required. Build and maintain strong working relationships with community partners and service providers. Ensure residents and complainants are kept informed and supported throughout case progression. Deliver educational workshops and awareness campaigns to promote positive behaviour and community cohesion. Keep accurate records and ensure compliance with GDPR and data protection regulations. Support preparation of reports on service outcomes and team performance. Identify service improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Support resident involvement and community engagement events and consultations. Keep up to date with housing legislation and best practice. Requirements: Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent. Experience of managing anti-social behaviour cases. Experience working in social housing or a similar environment. Good knowledge of relevant anti-social behaviour and housing legislation. Understanding of tenancy enforcement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to remain calm and resolve conflict effectively. Experience working with external agencies and stakeholders. Proactive, empathetic, and resilient approach. Full UK Driving Licence. Clear DBS check. Ability to travel independently to visit customers and properties.
