Job Title: Mechanical Instructor
Location: Scunthorpe (with occasional travel to Grimsby and Hull)
Salary: £38,183 - £39,796 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging, practical and theory-based training in mechanical engineering
* Support learners through Level 3 qualifications and apprenticeship standards
* Share industry knowledge and practices to help students reach their potential
* Promote safe working practices and maintain a positive, professional learning environment
* Contribute to curriculum delivery and continuous improvement processes
What You'll Need:
* Level 3 (or higher) qualification in mechanical engineering
* Industry experience in mechanical maintenance, ideally including hydraulics/pneumatics
* Solid understanding of Health & Safety procedures
* Good interpersonal and IT skills
* A commitment to learner success and a passion for passing on knowledge
Desirable but not essential:
* Teaching and/or assessor qualifications (training will be provided)
* Familiarity with CAD software
Additional Information:
* A full driving licence and own transport is required for occasional inter-site travel
* This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check
