About the Role
We are seeking a technically curious Junior Cloud Engineer to support cloud infrastructure and operations. This entry-level role focuses on assisting with deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of cloud environments. It is an excellent opportunity to build a career in cloud computing and DevOps.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in deploying, configuring, and maintaining cloud infrastructure
* Monitor cloud environments and respond to alerts and incidents
* Support troubleshooting of cloud-related issues
* Assist in managing virtual machines, storage, and networking services
* Support identity and access management configurations
* Document processes, incidents, and solutions
* Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams
* Ensure adherence to security and operational best practices
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
* 0–1 year of experience in IT support, cloud, or infrastructure roles (internships included)
* Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts
* Familiarity with operating systems (Linux/Windows)
* Basic knowledge of networking fundamentals
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
* Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform
* Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
* Basic knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
* Relevant certification such as AWS Cloud Practitioner or Azure Fundamentals
* Understanding of virtualization and containerization concepts
