Position: Associate Electrical Design Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Lead project delivery from concept through to completion, producing and reviewing detailed electrical designs (including power, lighting, and life safety systems)
- Act as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders
- Mentor junior engineers, support team development
- Contribute to project planning, resource management, and business growth
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in electrical design within a building services consultancy environment
- Currently operating at Senior Engineer level or above, with a desire to step into an Associate role
- Strong knowledge of UK regulations and standards (e.g., BS7671, CIBSE guidance)
- Experience working across sectors such as commercial, residential, or education
- Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver to deadlines
- Experience supporting or mentoring junior team members
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, Dialux (or similar)
