About The Role
Please note: This role is for Full Time either 33 or 44 hrs per week, must be flexible to cover both Days and Nights, working on a seven-day rota.
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You will build relationships with residents and their families to ensure personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and be a positive influence on your team. Tasks may include assisting with mobility, end-of-life care, or communication with families, all performed with kindness.
You will support the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing physical and mental stimulation through social activities and medication administration. Maintaining accurate records and fostering strong team relationships are also key aspects of your role.
Ideal candidates will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent, with a willingness to progress to Level 3. Experience in person-centered care planning and caring for people with dementia is preferred. Most importantly, you should have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage your time effectively, always demonstrating kindness and consideration in your interactions.
