Aims and Objectives
Trimble Group has established a reputation as a leader in animal health communication and education. Our ambition is to continue delivering exceptional client experiences and high-quality content while expanding our team to meet the demands of our growing portfolio.
As part of this, we’re seeking a veterinary surgeon who is passionate about communicating clinical knowledge, supporting the veterinary community, and using creativity to make science accessible and engaging.
You will receive structured training to develop your skills in storytelling, facilitation, content creation, video planning, and on-camera presentation. Working closely with our experienced team, you’ll gain hands-on experience across a wide range of projects to ensure you thrive in this unique and rewarding role.
Responsibilities
As a Veterinary Communications Consultant at Trimble Group, you will work closely with our creative and production teams, providing expert clinical input across a variety of educational and marketing projects. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring content is clinically accurate, engaging, and aligned with our clients’ needs.
Key responsibilities include:
* Creating, writing, and reviewing educational and marketing courses
* Designing course concepts, developing scripts, and refining content
* Creating and presenting storyboards to clients
* Delivering workshops and training sessions, both face-to-face and virtually
* Providing veterinary oversight during studio filming to ensure clinical accuracy
* Upholding the highest standards of animal welfare during all production processes
* Identifying and attending networking events to raise awareness of Trimble Group
* Building trusted relationships with key clients in the UK and internationally
* Supporting the timely and high-quality delivery of projects
Requirements and Skills
We are looking for a candidate with:
* A genuine passion for science communication, education, innovation, and creativity
* Experience as a veterinary surgeon in the UK, ideally across multiple species
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Confidence and enjoyment in public speaking and teaching
* Membership of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)
* Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
* High levels of computer literacy
* Willingness to travel nationally and occasionally internationally, with overnight stays
* A passion for animal welfare, lifelong learning, and professional development
* Residency in the UK and the right to work without sponsorship
* Salary: £24,000 per annum (based on 3 days/week, FTE £40,000)
* Part-time: 3 days per week initially, with potential to increase as the business grows
* Hybrid working environment with flexible hours
