As a Deputy Team Leader, you’ll ensure our young people receive the best care. You will work directly with young people and support the Care Manager in promoting outstanding childcare practices within the school.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise Key Workers, encouraging effective evaluation, monitoring, planning, and evaluation for each young person.
* Maintain complete casework records for young people.
* Make sound decisions and participate in case conferences, reviews, and planning meetings.
* In the absence of the Team Leader, oversee all residential admin and childcare functions.
* Take responsibility for the school on specific evenings and weekends, including sleep-in duties when required.
Qualifications and Skills
* Experience in residential childcare.
* Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (England) or an equivalent qualification.
* Ability to build strong relationships with children and parents.
* Resilience and understanding.
* Full UK driving license.
