Clinical Psychologist – Autism / ADHD Assessor
Job Summary: At Evolve Psychology Services, we empower clinicians to deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based autism and ADHD assessments for children, young people and families across NHS and private pathways. The role is based in Norwich, with a hybrid model offering part‑time and full‑time options.
Location: Regus, St. Crispins Road, Norwich, NR3 1YE.
Contract: Permanent. Working pattern: Full‑time or part‑time, home or remote, minimum 3 days per week.
Salary: £49,000 – £79,000 depending on experience.
Responsibilities
* Conduct face‑to‑face structured observations as part of neuro‑developmental assessment.
* Carry out remote developmental history interviews with parents and carers via Zoom.
* Participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) diagnostic discussions, supported by senior clinicians where needed.
* Deliver clear, compassionate feedback to families and produce accurate clinical reports using AI‑assisted tools.
* Meet service KPI targets and manage caseload efficiently.
* Provide clinical supervision where applicable.
* Contribute to quality checking, service development projects and training initiatives.
* Travel to the Norwich clinic base for in‑person assessments.
Qualifications & Experience
* HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical, Counselling or Educational).
* Minimum 1 year experience conducting diagnostic assessments for autism and/or ADHD in children and young people.
* Strong knowledge of DSM‑5 criteria and differential diagnosis of neuro‑developmental presentations.
* Experience with diagnostic tools such as ADOS‑2, ADI‑R, or equivalent.
* Effective time‑management and caseload organisation skills.
* Excellent written communication for high‑quality clinical reports.
* Strong verbal skills to interact compassionately with children, young people and families.
* Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
Desirable
* Experience in clinical supervision.
* Involvement in service development or quality‑assurance projects.
