We want you to #JOINTHEREBELLION!

For 30 years we’ve been independently developing and publishing incredible video games at our multiple studios founded by Jason & Chris Kingsley, but Rebellion is more than just games. We have our own film studio, we create board games, publish books, and through 2000AD, publish comics and graphic novels such as the amazing Judge Dredd.

We are looking for a highly motivated Assistant Producer to join our passionate and experienced Production team, to provide day to day support on one of our games. The ideal candidate will be proficient in project management with an aptitude for prioritising, multi-tasking and excellent communication.

This role is based at our riverside headquarters in Oxford, offering a creative and relaxed atmosphere where teamwork drives our success. We can provide a relocation package, including moving assistance, temporary accommodation, and full support to ensure a smooth transition to your new environment.

We believe in the power of face-to-face collaboration and encourage working from our Oxford headquarters. However, we understand that flexibility matters, so we’re open to discussing hybrid options based on individual needs.

Responsibilities:

1. Working with project stakeholders and producers to support the scheduling of deliverables and tracking of the tasks through to completion.
2. Support collaboration on cross discipline and discipline teams on a project: supporting the planning and breakdowns in Jira, identifying risks, troubleshooting communication and supporting the management of dependency issues.
3. Work with the wider production team and project team to ensure the production framework is adhered to, raise issues, and collaborate on continuous improvements.
4. Support project stakeholders and producers on planning and reviewing milestones: facilitating milestone planning meetings, reviewing the build to compare against deliverables, facilitating review meetings and producing milestone reports.
5. Involvement in key meetings, document production and tracking action points & risks on Confluence.
6. Coordinate with external partners when required.
7. Managing and maintaining Localisation/LocQA (keeping the information up to date and organised, arranging quotes, managing bugs and feedback, arranging sign off).
8. Sharing builds and compiling build notes for QA that are of a suitable quality and ensuring that QA have all relevant information that will allow them to test efficiently.
9. Identifying release candidates, storing them in a predefined safe location and liaising with the submissions department to ensure the correct builds are submitted and released to schedule.
10. Co-ordinating the release of screenshots and demos with the marketing team and development partners.
11. Liaising with the Community Support team making them aware of potential issues as well as helping them solve reported issues and updating them on fixes in the next release.

Requirements

12. Good knowledge of Confluence, Jira, Office 365, and Microsoft Teams.
13. Understanding of agile development.
14. Understanding of how source control systems such as Perforce work.
15. Excellent teamwork, with strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly clear and accurate verbal, and written language, contributing to good working relationships throughout the Rebellion team and external partners.
16. Able to schedule and plan ahead, setting and prioritising objectives, inspiring and delegating where necessary in order to deliver results.
17. Pro-active and motivated, able to cope well and act decisively and sensitively under pressure.
18. Determined to make both a great game and a great work environment.

Benefits

We offer an extensive benefits package to our team including:

19. 22 days holidays + Christmas closure (typically 4 days) & Bank holidays (increasing with service at 5 years – one day each year until you reach 31 days)
20. Private Medical Insurance, healthcare cash plan, including dental and Vision
