Your role involves supporting the development and delivery of promotional elements of the Waste Strategy to improve the Countys recycling performance. You will update digital content, respond to social media inquiries, and develop strategies for boosting recycling participation in areas with low engagement. Handling communications with the public and attending occasional community events outside typical work hours may also be required. Training will be provided where necessary, especially regarding website editing.
We are looking for motivated, driven, and customer-focused individuals who are passionate about making a real difference by advising Carmarthenshire residents on our recycling initiatives. You should be an excellent team player, confident dealing with residents, and have a basic knowledge of Carmarthenshire recycling schemes. An awareness of the Welsh Government Waste Strategy and key waste management issues is essential. A basic level of Welsh is required, or a willingness to learn upon appointment is necessary to fulfill the role.
