Electrical Fixed Wire Testing Engineer Belfast | £38,000 - £40,000 | 40 hours per week About the Role We are seeking a skilled Electrical Fixed Wire Testing Engineer to join a growing team in Belfast. This role is vital to ensuring the ongoing safety, reliability, and compliance of electrical systems across a large-scale facility. You'll be carrying out detailed inspections, reporting on findings, and helping to maintain a safe environment for both people and assets. Key Responsibilities Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) across electrical systems and equipment. Inspect and test installations, circuits, and equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards. Document findings clearly and prepare detailed reports. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults effectively. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations, standards, and best practices. Ensure testing equipment is properly calibrated and maintained. Promote and adhere to health & safety protocols at all times. About You Level 3 in Electrical Engineering. City & Guilds 18th Edition Award in Requirements for Electrical Installations. City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) for Initial and Periodic Inspection & Testing. Strong background in conducting EICR inspections, ideally within large industrial or manufacturing environments. Proficient with electrical testing software (e.g. EasyCert or similar). Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail with the ability to work independently and within a team. Full UK Driving Licence.
