Calderfields Golf & Country Club set in over 120 acres of beautiful Staffordshire Countryside is looking to recruit a talented and passionate Head Chef to front up its kitchen team.
This venue benefits from ongoing investment and boosts an array of functions from weddings, proms, conferences, funerals and parties. With a 21 bedroom hotel and 45 cover restaurant this venue thrives seven days a week.
The successful candidate would need to possess the following skills and demonstrate:
- To lead a team of up to eight ensuring rota rotation, team moral and a happy, functioning kitchen is met at all times.
- To continue to upkeep the current standards of service including our famous Sunday carvery and restaurant reputation.
- To ensure we apply safe and standard practices in line with health & food safety to ensure we keep our 5 star hygiene rating.
- To ensure all paperwork is kept up to date and legal within food hygiene guidelines.
- To work with multiple suppliers both local & national to gain the best prices for the best quality products.
- To work with the food 7 beverage manger to write and deliver profitable menus, keep targeted GPs and ensure quality runs throughout.
- To write seasonal menus and menus to suit multi functions throughout the calendar year.
- To ensure stock is rotated and used appropriately and to order within budget.
