Year 2 SEN Teaching Assistant Start Date: September 2025 Contract: Full-Time, Fixed-Term (with potential to extend) Salary: £24,790 - £25,183 FTE Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday Location: Huyton, Liverpool A welcoming and inclusive primary school in the heart of Huyton is seeking to appoint a skilled, compassionate, and committed Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), moving into Year 2 in September 2025. The role involves supporting the child throughout the school day, helping them to access learning and feel safe and secure within the classroom environment. The pupil can find aspects of the school day challenging, so strong behaviour management, patience, and relationship-building skills are key.
