Rotational Post
This exciting rotational full time post in the Specialised Therapies team at the University Hospitals of North Midlands has rotations including:
* Inpatient:
o Acute Rehabilitation Trauma Unit
o Paediatrics
o Fractured Neck of Femur
o Elective Orthopaedics
o Trauma
o Neurosurgery & Neurology
* Outpatient:
o Hand Therapy
Position Overview
You will have the opportunity to be involved in providing early rehabilitation and complex discharge planning for a range of different conditions and injuries that are treated within a major trauma centre.
Main Duties of the Job
You will be part of a large combined therapies team, which can offer a wide range of learning and development opportunities. Supervision will be provided by an Advanced Therapist and continuous development is supported through appraisal, internal training and external learning.
Therapy Services at UHNM work within a 7 day shift system therefore the post holder will be required to work weekends, late shifts and bank holidays.

* Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy
* Registered with HCPC
* Evidence of CPD

Experience (Essential)
* Minimum of 18 months post‑graduate experience as an Occupational Therapist
