Ess Employment Ltd have a unique opportunity for a highly motivated person to join our client on a 3-month contract. The successful candidate will work closely alongside a Packer, ensuring goods are safely moved and stored. While maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
•Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
•Support the packing operation by supplying materials and moving completed orders to designated storage or dispatch areas.
•Assist the Packer with general warehouse duties when required.
•Conduct daily forklift safety checks and report any defects or maintenance issues.
•Ensure stock is stored correctly and warehouse areas are kept clean and organised.
•Accurately complete relevant paperwork and stock movement records.
•Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
•Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence/certification.
•Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
•Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.
•Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
•Good communication skills and attention to detail.
•Reliable and punctual.
