Temporary Electrician - York (YO41)Location: York (YO41)Duration: 2-3 weeksStart Date: Tuesday 26th MayHours: 8:00am - 4:30pm (Monday to Friday)Rate: Negotiable (PAYE only)We are currently seeking a qualified Electrician for a short-term contract based in York (YO41), supporting ongoing works within a commercial maintenance environment. Role Responsibilities:
* Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance
* Installation works including power, lighting, and small upgrades
* Fault finding and rectification across commercial systems
* Minor remedial works following inspections and testing
* Ensuring all work is completed in line with current electrical regulations and site standards
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 2 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* Strong electrical installation knowledge
* Proven experience within commercial maintenance environments
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Key Details:
* Start from Tuesday 26th May
* 2-3 week contract
* Full-time hours (8:00am - 4:30pm)
* PAYE only (no CIS or self-employed payment options available)
* Weekly pay via Hays payroll
