These roles are perfect for HLTAs who enjoy building relationships, stepping in to support learning and helping children feel safe, confident and proud of their progress, whether that’s with phonics, times tables or just having a great day at school. We place HLTAs into both short- and long-term roles, carefully matching you with schools that suit your experience, strengths and availability. The role You’ll be supporting children across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, working one-to-one, in small groups and sometimes leading the class when the teacher is away. Your days will be varied and rewarding, helping to plan and deliver fun, engaging lessons, adapting learning to suit different needs and offering calm, reassuring support to children who need a little extra encouragement. You’ll be joining primary schools with warm, inclusive cultures where teamwork matters, staff feel supported and children are always the priority.
