We have an exciting opportunity where you could be a part of our incredible team.
In this role you will be responsible for delivering sales, profit and market share objectives for their accounts in line with company aspirations through the agreement and activation of joint plans with key trading teams. This role will support the wider Impulse Sales team to deliver our in year and longer-term growth aspirations in line with the L&S UK’s Game Plan.
Key Responsibilities include:
Develop Key Accounts
1. Develop credible and strong relationships across customer base and with key internal influencers to agree and execute Joint Business Plans in line with agreed sales plans.
2. Develop deep understanding of the retailer and networks within the account to develop Lindt’s business.
3. Drive effective Lindt customer relationships through high professionalism in account management at the appropriate levels.
4. Winning new business through networking, attending trade shows, sampling events and building relationships.
5. Short to midterm focus on account profitability and sustainability.
6. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to relay feedback from customer partners
Deliver Sales Controllables
7. Deliver in year plan & budget linked to the Company strategy.
8. Build and deliver robust Joint Business & Account Plan.
9. Deliver growth and strategic plans by portfolio to deliver NTS requirements, RSV, Profit, and market share objectives.
10. Optimize commercial spend investments and sustainable growth of Lindt NNP
11. Develop interdependent & collaborative relationships with Lindt cross functional teams.
12. Deliver outstanding visibility.
What experience you’ll bring
13. Have proven and substantial sales experience within a major FMCG organization, ideally with experience in Retail and Foodservice Wholesale.
14. Have a record of consistent success in the management and execution of Joint Business Plans
15. Have effective communication and networking skills.
16. Be performance driven, tenacious and goal orientated.
17. Be able to work cross functionally both internally and externally.
18. Excellence analytical skills with an ability to manage multiple P&L’s, budgets, and investments.
19. Good negotiation and presentation skills.
20. IT literate – skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
21. Ideally, a driving license
How you will be rewarded
Internal level 2
For the National Account Manager position, the salary range is £48,000 - £50,000. In addition, you will receive a benefits package including; car allowance, bonus, pension, life cover, chocolate allowance; chocolate give-aways, chocolate discount, birthday day off and so much more!
