Role Contribution
The successful candidate will play a key role in applying principles and theories of electronics, electrical circuitry, testing, pneumatics, and automation across the business.
Responsibilities
1. Achieve project milestones within specified time frames and budgets, completing projects on time and within scope.
2. Provide efficient, courteous service and support to customers as required.
3. Liaise between customers and management to ensure smooth communication and material flow.
4. Maintain, repair, and service existing and new equipment in a tidy, safe, and efficient environment.
5. Work in DC systems, cleanroom environments, and with wet process equipment and automated assemblies.
6. Lay out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electrical, pneumatic, and automation systems and components.
7. Evaluate, calibrate, and test new or modified equipment circuits and fixtures.
8. Assemble or modify systems according to engineering instructions and technical manuals.
9. Complete all necessary documentation and paperwork.
10. Follow all health and safety, quality procedures.
11. Promote FAST Technologies Ltd.'s capabilities.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential:
* HNC Electrical Engineering / City & Guilds Electrical Engineering / NVQ Level 3 Electrical Engineering
* Excellent communication skills
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office or equivalent
Desirable:
* Experience designing/building electrical control panels
* Experience maintaining/troubleshooting industrial control or PLC systems
* Experience with Siemens TIA platform
