Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Band 6 Community Occupational Therapist to join East Cheshire NHS Trust. The role involves providing high-quality Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment to patients with diverse health needs within a community setting. You will act as an autonomous clinician, using analytical skills and clinical reasoning to diagnose conditions and create tailored treatment plans. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments and deliver treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Act independently to provide clinical care while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient management. Liaise with other healthcare professionals and external agencies to integrate community care effectively. Support and mentor junior colleagues, contributing to team development and ensuring high standards of practice. Manage a caseload efficiently, prioritising and adapting treatment plans as required. Key Requirements: Post-registration experience relevant to this specialist area, evidenced by CPD. Strong knowledge of recent NHS legislation and healthcare priorities. Proven ability to work autonomously and under pressure while maintaining a high standard of care. Experience in leading junior staff and making clinical decisions.
