The Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music & Performing Arts Tutor to join our team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons that encourage creativity, self-expression, and confidence through music and performance. You will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse needs, helping them develop both artistic and transferable life skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver inspiring lessons in Music and Performing Arts tailored to individual learning needs.
* Support learners in achieving their personal, academic, and creative goals.
* Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that nurtures self-esteem and confidence.
* Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to deliver holistic learning experiences.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and encouragement.
Requirements:
* A background in Music and/or Performing Arts, with teaching or tutoring experience preferred.
* A strong understanding of how to engage and motivate young people with diverse needs.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for helping young people succeed.
* Relevant teaching qualifications are desirable but not essential for the right candidate.
