Ready to kick-start your journey to clinical psychology? This is your chance to gain essential hands-on experience working in an Outstanding SEN school in Reading—supporting children with autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and emotional regulation challenges.
This role is ideal for Psychology graduates looking to move into clinical psychology, educational psychology, child and adolescent mental health, social work, or therapy.

Work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils aged 4–11. Collaborate with therapists, SENCOs, and teachers using therapeutic and trauma-informed approaches. Support the development of communication, emotional regulation, and resilience. Observe and apply strategies rooted in child psychology and behaviour. Build the real-world experience needed for Assistant Psychologist roles and Doctorate applications.
You’ll Love This If You Are:
A recent Psychology graduate (or have a related qualification). Empathetic, proactive, and passionate about neurodiversity and mental health.
