The role will involve supporting a wide range of business administration activities, including diary and meeting coordination, document management, data entry, internal communications, and general office administration. You will also work alongside the HR team when required, providing administrative support for activities such as recruitment, onboarding, and maintaining accurate staff records. You will work closely with the CEO and senior colleagues, as well as liaising regularly with teams across the organisation, including managers, staff, and external partners. Executive & Administrative Support · Provide administrative support to the CEO, including diary management, scheduling meetings, and preparing agendas · Take accurate meeting notes and follow up on actions · Manage emails, correspondence, and document filing (digital and paper) · Assist with preparing reports, presentations, and briefing documents · Provide cover for business services inboxes when required. Office & Organisational Support · Support general office administration and day-to-day operations · Maintain records, databases, and contact lists in line with data protection requirements · Assist with ordering supplies and coordinating office needs · Support internal communications and coordination across teams. HR & People Support (as required) · Work alongside the HR team to provide administrative support for recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes · Assist with maintaining accurate HR records and personnel files · Support the coordination of training and development activities when needed Governance & Organisational Support · Provide administrative support/cover for trustee and board activities, including meeting logistics and documentation · Assist with compliance-related administration and organisational record-keeping Other responsibilities · To undertake any other duties, which fall broadly within the scope of this role, which is of a similar level of responsibility. Experience Experience in an administrative, customer service, or office environment (this can include voluntary or school/college experience). Training You will attend Exeter College one day a week during term time. Qualifications required GCSE Maths & English at Grade 4/C required.
