Supervises: Regional Directors, General Managers, and property-level leadership teams
Pay Range: $185,000 - $195,000
Job Summary:
The Regional Vice President of Hotel Operations provides strategic and operational leadership across a portfolio of hotels, ensuring strong financial performance, operational consistency, and alignment with company and brand standards. This role partners with ownership groups, executive leadership, and property teams to drive results, support growth, and deliver high-quality guest experiences across all assigned assets.
Essential Functions and Duties:
1. Oversee operational performance for a portfolio of hotels, ensuring achievement of financial, service, and operational goals
2. Lead and support General Managers and regional leaders, driving accountability, performance, and team development
3. Partner with ownership groups and asset managers to review performance, provide strategic recommendations, and ensure asset value is maximized
4. Monitor key performance metrics including RevPAR, NOI, guest satisfaction, and labor efficiency; implement action plans as needed
5. Collaborate with Sales, Revenue Management, Finance, HR, and Commercial teams to drive topline revenue and operational effectiveness
6. Ensure compliance with brand standards, management agreements, and company policies across all assigned properties
7. Support new hotel openings, transitions, renovations, and repositioning efforts within the portfolio
8. Identify opportunities for operational improvement, cost control, and enhanced guest experience
9. Participate in management presentations and business development efforts to support portfolio growth
10. Maintain strong relationships with brand partners, vendors, and key stakeholders
11. Conduct regular property visits to assess performance, provide guidance, and support leadership teams
12. Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and service excellence across all hotel

Required Experience, Education, and Skills:
13. Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field required; advanced degree preferred
14. 10+ years of progressive hospitality leadership experience, including multi-property or regional oversight
15. Proven success managing hotel portfolios and delivering strong financial and operational results
16. Experience working with ownership groups, asset managers, and brand partners
17. Strong financial acumen with expertise in P&L management, forecasting, and operational metrics
18. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop senior leaders and high-performing teams
19. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills in complex operational environments
20. Excellent communication and executive presence with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
21. Deep understanding of hotel operations including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Sales, and Revenue Management
22. Ability to travel frequently and support multiple markets
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
23. This is a full-time leadership role with frequent travel required across the portfolio
24. Work is performed in a combination of corporate offices, hotel environments, and travel settings
25. Must be able to sit for extended periods, travel regularly, and maintain a flexible schedule
26. Occasional lifting of items up to 25 lbs may be required
