Commercial Claims Handler – Oxfordshire (Hybrid)
We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Claims Handler to join a forward-thinking insurance group in Oxfordshire. This is a great opportunity to work with a highly skilled team that delivers expert risk solutions for complex and high-value clients.
You’ll handle Property, Casualty and Motor claims from first notification through to settlement, providing exceptional service and building strong relationships with commercial clients.
What you’ll be doing
1. Managing a range of commercial claims, keeping clients informed at every stage
2. Negotiating with insurers to achieve the best possible outcomes
3. Producing accurate and timely documentation throughout the claims process
4. Escalating potential issues promptly to ensure fair and efficient settlements
5. Maintaining accurate claims records and coordinating communication between clients, underwriters, and other stakeholders
6. Using your technical knowledge to resolve contentious or complex claims
7. Supporting pre-renewal and renewal discussions with technical input
What we’re looking for
8. Experience handling commercial property and/or casualty claims
9. Strong communication and negotiation skills
10. Client-focused approach with a genuine commitment to excellent service
11. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
12. Cert CII qualification preferred but not essential
13. Confident, proactive, and collaborative attitude
