Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of planning projects, overseeing all aspects from inception to completion.
2. Provide strategic advice to clients, guiding them through the planning process, regulations, and policy changes.
3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, stakeholders, and the wider planning community.
4. Oversee and mentor a team of planners, ensuring effective collaboration, professional development, and successful project outcomes.
5. Deliver innovative planning solutions that align with sustainability and urban regeneration goals.
6. Manage budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring all projects are delivered to the highest standard.
7. Represent the company at public hearings, consultations, and in negotiations with planning bodies.
Skills & Qualifications:
8. Chartered Town Planner (MRTPI) or equivalent professional qualification.
9. Extensive experience in planning and development, ideally with a focus on large-scale urban or mixed-use projects.
10. Strong understanding of planning policies and legislation in the UK, particularly within London.
11. Proven track record of managing complex planning applications and leading successful projects.
12. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
13. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
14. A proactive and forward-thinking approach to planning, with a passion for sustainable development.
