Overview
Are you an experienced Data Engineer with knowledge of Azure, cloud migration & systems Integration work?
My client is an ambitious, multi-site healthcare organisation with some critical business and tech transformation plans. As their Data & Business Intelligence function expands, they require a hands-on Senior Data Engineer to assist in their migration and integration strategy.
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role, working alongside the Director of Data & BI. You will own the day-to-day data engineering and integration's landscape, helping to shape modern cloud architecture.
You'll be joining at a pivotal point as the business migrates to Azure, modernises its data platform, and connects a complex ecosystem of finance, HR, and core operational systems. The role comes with strong visibility across the business and regular interaction with senior leadership, including the CFO.
The Role
* Development and maintenance of enterprise data and integration platforms
* Design, build, and manage Azure data pipelines using Data Factory, Data Lake, and SQL
* API and system-to-system integrations using Logic Apps, Function Apps, and related tools
* Oversee data governance, quality, and documentation
* Partner closely with Finance, HR, Operations, and senior stakeholders
* Work with external MSPs and vendors to ensure best-practice delivery
* Strong hands-on experience with the Azure data platform
* Proven experience delivering API and enterprise system integrations
* ETL/ELT pipelines, data modelling, and data warehousing
* Understanding of how data feeds into Power BI and analytics platforms
