Overview
Domestic Assistant role at Sodexo at Royal Stoke Hospital, Stoke-on-Trent, ST4 6QG. This is a vital role where you’ll help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your work will directly support health and wellbeing throughout the hospital.
What You’ll Do
* Maintain cleanliness in patient rooms, wards, communal spaces, restrooms, and other hospital areas
* Strip and clean beds, collect used linen for processing
* Clean surfaces, including desks, ceilings, vents, blinds, and walls, to maintain a hygienic environment
* Perform daily tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, floor polishing, and replenishing supplies
* Empty waste bins and manage refuse in line with hospital protocols
* Promote and maintain a safe, healthy environment for all patients, staff, and visitors
